That pixel size is the one in the Passport Seva ICAO photo guidance. It is the same proportion as a 35 × 45 mm print. The checker on this page uses the 80–85 percent face range. If you are applying through a center that still asks for a different print, follow that checklist and say so in the crop.
Do not smooth skin, recolor the background, or add a filter. The guidance says unaltered. Cropping to 630 × 810 is the point of the tool. Retouching is not.

How to do it
- Shoot on white. Face the camera, ears visible if your hair allows, mouth closed, no glasses.
- Fill the frame. Indian photos show more face than a U.S. 2×2. Zoom in until the head-size row passes.
- Export 630 × 810. Upload that JPEG in the passport application. The 4×6 sheet is there if you also need prints.
