The photo never leaves your device. Cropping, the face check, the watermark, and the final JPEG are all done in your browser. PassOkay’s servers do not receive the picture, and there is no account to attach it to.

The face-checker model is downloaded from this site the first time you start a check. That download is the model file, not your photo. After that, your browser can keep the file so the next visit is faster.

If you pay, the checkout page is Square or a BTCPay server. They receive the payment details and a receipt code we generate. They do not receive the photo. The receipt code and a short-lived unlock token are stored in this browser’s local storage so you can download again on the same device. You can clear that storage in your browser settings.

This site does not run advertising trackers. Server logs on the host may include the usual request data (IP address, URL, user agent) for pages and for the payment webhook. Those logs still do not contain your photo.
